My good friend Tenesa with the Dreamwalker YouTube channel asked me to discuss art’s history and its possible influence on society. This led to me giving the most general overview of the entire timeline of Western Art History (well, not the entire timeline) as known by me that’s ever been given 😂

Funnily enough, I was listening to a Great Courses lecture series about the Myth of the Great Mother Goddess on Wondrium, and learned that there’s a huge debate over what I was taught to be the “Woman of Willendorf.” I was never taught she was a goddess, I was taught she was a fertility figurine likely used by the medicine women of the tribes to aid in rituals…

Thought I’d share that to amend that part of the video, and I will be learning more about that as I research the mythological inspirations behind the High Priestess card 🤓
