Due to several lifestyle factors, I’ve made the decision to step away from my freelance marketing support work. Instead, I’ll be focusing on my Inner Mystic newsletter and growing my tarot + astrology business.
However, I still want tp provide support for the DIY marketers out there who often turn to me to help with the more technical aspects of setting up their marketing strategies in the best way I can.
Therefore, I’ve created this resource up to some of the most frequently asked marketing questions I answer for clients, friends, and family.

What are tools I can use to better market my Business?
Email Marketing
My number one top choice for ease of use and cost is Flodesk.
If you’re already a Flodesk user and you need to reach their support: https://help.flodesk.com/
Kit, formerly known as ConvertKit, is my top choice for people who want to make email marketing and especially automations and workflows in email marketing their primary strategy. It is BEST used for people on WordPress and using WooCommerce for their shop too.
If you’re already a Kit user and need to reach their support: https://kit.com/support
Mailchimp has definitely upped its game, and is easier to use than Kit, but depending on your plan and features may be more expensive. It integrates with EVERYTHING, though, so again this might be your choice if you’re relying heavily on email marketing as part of your strategy.
If you’re already a Mailchimp user and you need to locate their support site: https://mailchimp.com/contact/
MailerLite is an alternative option with some awesome features. It’s not my favorite because it’s interface isn’t as intuitive for me, but it definitely serves its purpose and is usually cheaper than Mailchimp or Kit.

Social Media
For social media marketing I always suggest being as organic and as authentic as possible, especially for the solopreneur. However, scheduling helps and is often necessary for one’s schedule and sanity.
For Facebook & Instagram, use the Meta Business Suite
The algorithms are already difficult enough for organic posts to be seen, don’t make it worse by using a third-party scheduler. Even posts using the Meta scheduler are dinged a little bit, again because organic is the way to go, but at least if you’re using their scheduler your post will be dinged less.
If you have an online shop, use the Meta Commerce Manager to see if its eligible to be a shop on Facebook and/or Instagram.
If you want to post your designs directly, you can set up Canva, Adobe Express, WordPress, Mailchimp and many others to post directly. See above support links to find the steps for doing so within each platform.
